Takashimaya work examples  1993

When the famous Japanese department store Takashimaya decided to open a flagship store on 5th Avenue New York in 1993 Kern was asked to photograph the inaugural advertising campaign, which consisted of a series of five full page ads in the New York Times followed by various mailer books containing product photography.  Takashimaya closed on 5th Avenue in 2010.
